Again, you can't. Suger is carbs. There is shitload of carbs in a single can of coke. 39 grams in each can. That's a ludicrous amount of carbs for a 12 ounce drink.

McDonald's could still sell u a 64 ounce coke but it would need to come in 4 cups to be legal. Bloomberg is a shill for the cup industry. He is in the pocket of the cup industrial complex

Yea, you can cut carbs without cutting sugar. He never said you would cut all carbs.. I am not talking about coke.

For example, I have lost tremendous amounts of weight eating a shit-load of fruits and cutting the greasy, high fat foods.

We are all different. You know this. I am also sure you know at least 1 person that eats whatever the fuck they want and never gain a pound..

Of course! Read my post again, chief. My point is that you can cut the sugar from sodas and it can make ZERO difference to your weight. I thought I was very clear. Cutting just sodas made no difference. And no, I did not drink artificially sweetened sodas. I drank ONLY water. No juice, no diet coke, no milk. Just water.

There are a ludicrous amount of carbs in soda, but it is still a fraction of the SAD (standard american diet).

I now have to run like a mad man to keep weight down, but thats ok. I love me my beer, fried fish, and annual trash food during LSU games.....

31 and it hasn't caught up with me yet although I'm sure it will. Having said that, I don't indulge much in sweets or sodas. I probably average less than a 12 oz can a day and when I see cakes cookies, etc, I normally pass. Good home cooking is my weakness but I can give it up if I have to. I will never be overweight. I just don't have a problem eating salad, etc if i need to.

my weight varies between superfit at 160 and kinda flabby at 180. when i want to lose weight i try to only eat three things
that doesnt compute unless you replace sugar from the sodas with something else. if you do everything else the same and stop drinking sugary drinks you will lose weight.

That is assuming a person is burning every calorie that he puts in. If you cut the soda then you will be using more calories than you put in and loose weight. If a person is steadily gaining weight, cutting the soda may only slow down the rate or stabilize the gain.

Sodas are one of the best sources of empty calories but if you are still putting down tons of refined sugar and refined flour you still have a long way to go.
