    The majority of people are weak and can't tell themselves "No". That's why our country has the problems with personal debt; drugs; infidelity/break down of family unit; I could go on.

    I haven't drunk any sugar water for 25 years. What are we? Friggin' hummingbirds?

    I do think the supersizing of America is ludicrous, but we should just vote with our wallets. Have you noticed the new mini-cans in the stores? I miss the old 6.5-ounce coke bottles that were standard for decades, that was about right to quench your thirst.

    Then friggin' Pepsi went to 10 ounces and Nehi to 12 and the race was on. Now the 16-ouncer that has been standard for 20 years is being crowded out by 24 ounce and half-liter bottles.

    Don't even get me started on Super Double Big Gulp fountain drinks. I've seen 64-ounce ones. Ted Kennedy could drop an Oldsmobile into one of those bastards.

    The smaller six packs of cokes are as expensive as the 12 ouncers. It's pretty crazy.
