I mean sure, blowing everyone out would be fun. Who wouldn't want that? But I mean, after 2008 & 2009 I knew what we had as far as the head coach. Miles made a great grab with Chavis and I hope he will do the same in the next 7 years with an OC. We see sparks of greatness and its like waiting an entire year for shark week!!
I agree, that was great. I think everyone is wondering what happened. It's frustrating when you see the type of talent we have and can't maximize it. I realize we were decimated with O-line issues, but we seemed to have them worked out the last part of the year. Until last night, when it was the Florida game all over again.
And that is the main point. Stud was behind that. No way Miles would fire the dude b/c of the NC game. Last night was the worst I have ever seen things. Just turrible. Hill was on freaking fire and he touched the ball 12 times. Insanity.
Again with the anger? Some of your posts are interesting and good, but most are idiotic babbling like this. Be nice, life is too short. quote="TigerTap, post: 1312890, member: 11569"]He was never LSU Fan, he was here yesterday, still bitchin' about Bama i January. I hate old whiney farts who pretend their PAST was better. Bullshit! Everyone's seen the films. Roll that Billy Cannon footage one more goddamn time. 1958 team couldn't tackle worth a shit! Players playing both ways, NOT because they were good, because the others sucked so bad. All white league.[/quote]
One could counter that anybody not still smarting over the January loss to SaBama (saban/bama) is a casual fan. For me its still the low point in my decades of following LSU football.
Not just Hill, it was astonishing that LSU's rich stable of backs got so few touches. It seemed Les threw in the towel on the running game after a handful of running plays got stuffed. Running the ball and wearing down the opposing defenses with a relentless pounding of fresh backs is supposed to be LSU's bread and butter. If you've got a QB under constant pressure (I'd say he only threw one really bad pass) and receivers who drop the ball too much, but a stable of top quality running backs, it eludes me, amazes me, confounds me, perplexes me, and on top of that befuddles me why Les abandoned the running game.
