I pretty much use it because it's there; however, nothing beats good, old-fashioned teaching sometimes. The most riveted my classes ever are is when I'm really passionate about a subject and just talk about it.
no, i'm sure that you use it in the right ways. but i've had a few economics classes where i hardly learned anything because the instructors failed to familiarize themselves with the technology. consequently, they couldn't keep the students from bailing out on the class. to be fair, i think that they were just implementing these things when i had taken the classes. but they definitely have their uses! especially for me since i'm in PR.
Every kid who came into the cafe yesterday got a dose of me talking to them at their table and then suddenly saying " There's a horse on the front porch !!" Worked every time because these kids were all pre school and tagging along with Mom and this was something they really wanted to believe.
