no one blocked one, but nearly every punt is blocked with that formation, as it's designed to draw people up for the block in order to limit blocking for the returner. I just don't like having to have my nuts in my throat at every punt almost being blocked. whatever works, though.
I remember hearing that they started using it because the long snapper was not good at coming out of the snap to block. That may only be part of the reason though. Are we going to have the same long snapper next year?
Nearly blocked punts are unblocked punts. What the hell is wrong with that? We have seen how the formation also lends itself to fake punt passes and runs.

In the BCS Championship game OSU should have blocked a punt had their guy gone for the ball (instead of the punter) like he should have. That play was huge, gave us a first down instead of them getting the ball in the shadow of our goal.
