guess we ought to have a DC or co-DC announcement pretty soon.

Hope he can figure out how to get some punt returns for us. We mostly just put back someone to fair catch last year.

Pretty nice resume and I like that he also coached DE at Arizona.

He also was a recruiting coordinator at La Tech and Southern Miss along with possible ties to Houston and Central Florida.

Sorry not out of the recruiting mode yet.

Miles continues to show that he will hire the best. I am not at all concerned about having an internal promotion and Co-DC's.

Good news for LSU, bad defection (another) from the Stoops staff. Special teams are used alot at UofA, lots of practice on Punts and Kickoff returns. DE's way underperformed here though. Kid named Holmes was supposed to be a beast, but never came close to the hype. I think it was more about the kid's work ethic, etc., he got in a fight at a Scottsdale club.
He coached Folk, the kicker for Dallas as well as a great return guy named Steptoe, as well as Cason. HE DOES NOT USE THE "PUNT UGLY" FORMATION, which may be a problem after a perfect non-blocked punt season at LSU.I hope U of A can replace him, and that he kicks ass at LSU.

Dang, that really sounds great and is exciting.

Oh, and like Uncle issy said, recruiting never stops, that's a good thing that you're not out of the mode.

Article with some insight on special teams and the new coach.

Sounds good to me. As long as we can still cover like LSU.

well last year, they didn't cover. lol

so you might as well go after it, if when you drop back into coverage it don't work.

What punt formation did Arizona do? (hoping for the answer I want to hear)
