    ESPN/Sportscenter confirming this now as well. It's a great hire imo.

    I will be interested to see what he does in control. rumor was around here that Parcells ran the offense, and he was just a figurehead so to speak.

    Payton had the worst passing offense in the league last season. A couple of years ago, when he was OC for Fassel and the Giants, Fassel stripped his playcalling duties from him. Yeah. That's a fit.

    Just accepted the Saints job. Supposively is one of the best up and coming coaches.

    Guess we'll see.

    Actually it is a really nice fit, Ben$on could care less about winning and Payton should come pretty cheap compared to a real coach. But it really doesn't matter who the saints hire as coach anyway because Ben$on and the front office will be the same and so will the saints.
