http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?SID=880&Year=2009&ra_key=2073 Ive pretty much seen enough from Rivals for a while. :rolleye33:
How is it that Ford had nearly 1,000 more yards than Richardson this season, yet Trent is ranked so much higher than Ford???
Because high school stats dont determine how good of a prospect a player is. There are QB's with no offers that have thrown for a million TD's.
Guys, Can someone post the update to the Rivals 250? Rivals is firewalled at work.....how do they expect me to look up LSU sports info if they block sports sites??? Thanks in advance.:geaux:
Montgomery - 110 (down from 53) Sentimore - 126 (bumped up from around the 170s/180s) McCarron - 128 Myles - 133 (down from 87 I believe) Pratt - 144 Calhoun - 153 Mingo - 155 Downs - 161 (pretty good bump from around 260) Kelly - 167 (down from around 120) Holloman - 176 (dropped from 80s at one point) Brockers - 201
And no Minter in the top 250, you've got to be kidding me. They obviously have not evaluated that beast very well, whether it be his lack of film or lack of attending scout camps. At least Scout recognizes hes a beast. Holloman dropping like that is as is Montgomery is :insane: Ford is where I thought he'd be.
I agree they missed the boat on Minter. About as underrated as Downs, but Downs got his due. Minter never did.
LSU will end up with at least 9 players in the top 250. They could conceivably end up with as many as 16 (Randle, Debose or Kelly, Myles, Montgomery, Mingo, JJones, Su'a Filo). Most likely we end up with 12 or 13.
All offensive categories have been updated. Lowe almost lost his 4th star (last OG to get it). Garrett was only 4 QBs away from getting a 4th star. A couple of more QBs were given a 4th star and one (or maybe both) jumped Garrett to get there. Athlete is being saved along with the defensive categories to be updated over the next day or so. We will see Claiborne's bump then.
