found it :bncry: College Football Rankings: Re-Ranking the Top 25, Post-LSU Suspensions | Bleacher Report
As far as I know the A.P. and coaches won't re-rank until next Tuesday. The only mention I have even seen was: Despite Jefferson's absence, LSU still our No. 1 - NCAA Football - Sporting News The Bleacher Report is a collection of bloggers, basically anyone with a keyboard can post anything they want with virtually no accountability. Speaking of, I was a little shocked to read about this: As Football Season Kicks Off, Bleacher Report Raises $22 Million More | TechCrunch
Goes to show you their rankings don't mean sh!t. Our QB situation quite possibly may have improved with JL being named starter. But, we drop in the rankings.... We all know, JJ didn't exactly light em up last season.
I wouldn't spend a whole lot of time worrying about preseason rankings. Anyone remember where AU was ranked preseason last year? Ok how about their post season ranking?
Lose only one game or less and LSU wins the SEC and plays for a national championship. Rankings mean nothing this time of year. LSU can be unranked pre-season and they go 12-1 they are ranked 1 or 2 by years end
Preseason rankings are to college football what U.S. News & World Report rankings are to college academics. Everyone in the know realizes they're both garbage, but they still want to be #1 when the list comes out. We beat Oregon and we're sitting firmly in the Top 3 of all polls.
BleacherReport's pre-season rankings don't mean diddly. It's only at the end of the season that it matters. Oh wait, BR isn't part of the BCS formula, so it doesn't mean diddly then either.
