Shreveport already had their shot. Remember the Shreveport Steamer ? Now......what league was that ? The WFL, USFL, I can't remember. Those spudgrowers like their football. But I don't know if a pro team could hang (attendance wise) with Boise State. Would be surprised if any league put a team in Vegas, the gambling thing, ya know ? Hell, just put all the teams in New York. Martin could be our resident insider providing regular updates.
So far I've heard L.A., Las Vegas, Mexico City and some others that I can't remember. Mexico City has some steam to it! Mexico is hungry for some football. Problem is, it still won't compare to NFL, the best they will do is basically what the NFL Europa does (NOTHING!).
They might try, but over taking the NFL is never going to happen. Face it....you're sitting at home one in the fall, getting ready to watch a little pro football and your options Saints vs Colts OR the Peoria Sausage Eaters vs the Winston-Salem Smokers.......
