Heres what i just thought about

I am Jarrett Lee, a freshman, i am redshirting my freshman season where matt flynn is leading our team to a national championship... all my friends are not seeing playing time and im not getting a ton of snaps. Ryan Perrilloux is gonna be the man for probably two years and he is great. I am probably not gonna see the field for a while. Plus andrew hatch is also in front of me. I am gonna be a RS freshman next year and im probably never gonna see the field

not to say this is an excuse but it wouldnt be uncommon for JL to think this nor would i expect someone who doesnt think theyre gonna get the field to give 100%

not saying that he didnt but for me i dont think you can be the best QB you can be unless your whole team knows youre gonna be the starter for plenty of time. I think this kid is good and hes gonna come around

    i hope

I am pretty sure he prepared from a physical standpoint and tried to stay as sharp as possible.

But there is no denying it's a totally different mindset once you know you're the man. That's why it was critical to get rid of RP as soon as we knew he wasn't able to be salvaged.

Lee has a lot of skills and in time I think he will be a very good qb for us.
