WWL reported that Tom Benson has ceased operations for the Voodoo. Not sure why but I guess Arena Bowls and sellouts weren't enough for Benson. :nope:
I've never been to a game, but I still see a good bit of t-shirts and bumper stickers with Voodoo logos... too bad it folded.
I was gonna buy season tickets this year. I am pissed off! I use to go all the time back in the day to the New Orleans Nights games (That was the first arena team we had) This is simply Benson being Benson! The Saints are doing to well for him to screw with the team without the fear of being drugout to the street and hung! SO he ****s with the Voodoo. They were at the top of the league for Sellouts but I guess thats not good enough. There are few people that I wish ill will upon Mr Benson tops the list!!!!! I for one will be doing the "benson boogie" when I hear the news that he is dead!
were they at the top in attendance? if so that sucks he folded the team. damn, must have been some exciting games.
Not just becuase of what he did with the Voodoo but all the years he has screwed with the Saints. And threatened to move the team!
that is true but its not like he has a city that hates the team. no matter what we have stuck by the saints, and he does not deserve the type of fans here
I am guessing this is just the start of the Benson crap again. By this time next year there will be Benson/Superdome/Stadium issues again and rumors will start to creep out that he is looking to move the team.
