    Michael Smith the Espn reporter from McD 35 in New Orleans said the trade with Shockey to the Saints will probably happen before the draft. Shockey said he's fine with the trade . Smith said either Shockey for a 2nd rounder or R.Harper and late 2nd rd pick.

    yeah i read an article a couple weeks ago saying reggie bush was the one to leak it when he was at wrestlemania or whatever its called.

    cant say im excited about the uncleanly one.

    Wish we could get him for just a 2009 2nd rd pick or just R.Harper. That way we could still pick up S Kenny Philips. I actually like TE Fred Davis from USC.I would offer the 2nd rd pick to Cinci again for Chad Johnson(know imma catch hell with that statement). Our offense would be unstoppable with C.Johnson,M.Colston, R.Mecheum and Shockey as Brees targets.

    WTF. Why would they want to get rid of Roman Harper for a cancer? In fact, why would they get rid of him at all? The kid's awesome.

    I was wondering the same thing. He probably isnt going to be a hall of famer but last time i checked the saints secondary still sucked and he was decent, and had only played one year.

    I am not sure what my take is on the Shockey situation but I think it has been overblown a tad by the NY media. If anything, I can see Shockey turning into the next Kyle Turley from a fan POV.

    Also, I think the Saints were going after the USC TE in the 2nd round. So if you look at it that way we get an expierenced stretch the field TE for a rookie TE who would probably need time to develop and throw in Harper that is not a bad deal for immediate results.

    did you watch the Saints last year? Not one, and I repeat, not one player from the Saints secondary is worth a SH!T.

    Getting Shockey for Harper is a steal! And believe me, Payton and Brees won't let Shockey be a problem.
