Who the hell wants to watch Kobe shoot over a thousand shots (true for year so far) and miss more than half of them. Especially when you have a big guy who has a great FG% but less than 500 attempts. Howard sucks as an individual but pass the damn ball it is time to retire, Kobe. They are awful and so many injuries and personalities I don't think that team will be together very long.
I've always wanted the Hornets & Voodoo logos on the side of the arena facing Hwy 90. With a new logo and renovations under way (the new outdoor electronic screens are nice!) it would be a perfect time to add these to the exterior. The facility was built at a great price but the exterior (especially the color) has always been lacking. Huge logos (complete with lighting) would look great on the long side of the arena. Once people get accustomed to the new logos...and the team begins to win consistently...the name Pelicans will be accepted. I would prefer Jazz any day but not bothered by Pelicans as much as I was when it was first mentioned. I don't think other teams will be making fun of your mascot if you're kicking their ass on the floor.
