For a logo, you could go with just the team name and a basketball, same thing the Lakers, Knicks, Nets, Pistons, Clippers, Pacers, and Thunder do for their logos

I thought one of the finalist was the "Soul". That would have gone with the Saints theme. Could have kept the Fluer-de-lis with a basketball in the middle. Also could have stayed with the Black and Gold for colors. The Honey Bees would have looked nice in some black leather shorts
