I mean, so what if it will be -10 degrees and there'll be a foot of snow on the ground. Minneapolis will have a new stadium, so they'll know how to host a Super Bowl better than New Orleans, which will also have the party atmosphere ramped up to a fever pitch for the city's 300th birthday. Hope the roof on the new stadium is stronger than the one at the Hefty Bag Dome. Its the first time New Orleans has ever bid on a Super Bowl and lost.
That made no god damn sense. Everybody wants it to be in New Orleans. Last place on Earth somebody thinks about visiting is Minneapolis.
If they wanted to reward Minnesota for building a new stadium they should have given them the 2019 game with San Diego getting the 2020 game and Atlanta in 2021.
San Diego has to build a new stadium first. If they can't get an agreement after a decade of negotiations, 20whatever looks pretty bleak. Would be nice though. San Diego puts on one hell of a SB week.
