Hornets lost to the Mavs in a close one tonight, essentially ending any hopes of making the playoffs.

Exactly. They are on a one game losing streak. On pace for an 8-76 season.

tonight will show alot lets see if this team can bounce back strong after their first loss. The good/bad thing (depending how you look at it) is we play the Mavs again. This time we get them in the hive

I think playing the Mavs again is a good thing. You see alot of times, teams that start off with an undefeated streak end up losing more than you'd expect after the first loss. Kind of a "wind out of the sails" effect? See 2009 New Orleans Saints, 2005 Indianapolis Colts, this years LA Lakers, etc.. Playing the same team that just handed you a deflating loss is good, I think-hope. Any lack of motivation is taken care of by facing the team that just beat you. Plus we're at home. My prediction:Hornets by double digits(i.e. 10-15 point win), where it's closer than the score would indicate, but we pull away in the end. GEAUX HORNETS!!

what a game last night. we are now 9-1, that was a way to bounce back and show we can pull out a very very close game w/ what looks to be a good mavs team. The biggest thing I see is this team plays def, just look at the last two plays of the game. DWest of all people put some d out there and won us the game. Great win guys.
