    Few tidbits:

Munchie made a case to be the top QB in the state. Broadway was injured and did not participate but Munchie shocked everyone in the building.

2011 WR Jarvis Landry out of Lutcher HS looks like he will push to be the top WR in the country next year. HE said LSU will always be out front for his services.

2010 Houston Bates out of St. Paul increased his stock and even though he is listed as a DE he will likely play LB at the next level.

Look for LSU to push harder for DT Rissean Broussard.

Tharold Simon was a no show.

LA will be stacked next year at DL, WR, RB, etc...

I hope he's the one we take..

That's good to know.. can't hurt having play makers at wide out. What's his 'style'?

DL and WR.. no shocker there  Is it stacked enough next year to impact this years class? As in.. hold out for the elite level running backs.. storm, dontae williams, lache, lattimore, etc or bust?

Hard to really say to this point about Jarvis but he can do it all. Great routes, uses his hands, little less quickness than Trovon. He is also used as a RB so he would do well as a possession type WR based on his film. If he stays close to his current size I think he will be a slot WR.

As for RBs, I still think we will take 2 this year and maybe a guy who is a ATH/RB or RB/FB to come to 3 possible this year. Got to take what we can get now because we will still have a need for 2 RBs in 2011 as well the way I see it now.

Also remember Jarvis is G.Landry younger brother that stared at SU that would've gone to major schools but they wanted him for TE and he wanted to play WR. He's been saying for awhile that Jarvis was way better than him and will be the best WR in the nation when he comes out.

Well...that is really encouraging news for LSU. So Landry was basically saying, I'm all LSU?

LA going to have probably around three 5 stars next year I think.

His exact words were LSU is out front and always will be.

Could be 3 5*: Hilliard, Landry, and the DT ( I cant think of right now)

And plenty of high rated 4* prospects.

Jeremauria Rasco is his name, I think. He's a DE as far as I know, but you know how that goes.

Levander Liggins will be highly ranked as well. Probably not a 5* guy but a good 4*.

The state looks strong next year for sure.

Actually I was talking about DT Anthony "Freak" Johnson out of O.P. Walker but Rasco will be highly rated as well (he was not at the combine).

Another guy who could work his way to a 5* is OT La'el Collins out of Redemptorist.
