    Since when can a kicker(ANY kicker) kick a 67 yard field goal?

    From the 30 or 35, a field goal would be 47 -52 yards.

    Well, what will happen next year if Favre comes back...the vikings are at the Saints (or someone else's house), go into overtime, WIN the coin toss, kick a FG and the opposing team runs the return kickoff back for a td?
    Poetic justice!!!:popcorn::rofl::thumb:

    You think nfl and espn will be clamoring for a rule change?

    The idea that I heard that I liked best was that when the 4th quarter ends, they'll change ends of the field the same way they do at the end of a quarter, and continue play. First team to score wins.

    Only potential abuses of this would be when a team was already getting themselves into position to win the game. Don't see the need for an extra coin toss that leaves the outcome to luck.
