So............. they are trying to say no one from South Florida leaves home unless they get paid to do so? I gotta think this is a new investigation that has followed the reports on youth football players parents getting paid, and gambling with South Florida kids parents. Think about it, if you are a bad ass football player as a kid, and your parents are gambling on you, and asking money for your services, what makes anyone think that when they get to college they won't do the same thing. Oh god. . .we're being mentioned in the same breath as Auburn, Ohio St., and Tennessee. . .that ain't good. . .
red, ..... can't comment on the other schools listed, but I'm told the portion regarding Auburn is about the claims made by Stanley McClover on the HBO expose. Credibility issues aside, it appears that HBO was responding to reports by Joe Schadd regarding same a few months earlier. It should be noted that ESPN found enough errors in Schadd's reporting of the allegations that it subsequently required a second-level of editorial review for all Schadd content on a going-forward basis. Essentially, Schadd has been put on a leash by ESPN because of substandard journalism practices. South Florida is well-renowned for it's street agent community and the NCAA has been investigating several street agents there for at least 3.5 years that I know of. Who did LSU land from the Dade/Broward area?
