    Heard the tail end of something on ESPN about them being in an uproar about having to wear a batting helmet of some kind while coaching the bases. Something about feeling like bat boys. :hihi:

    In college softball it's 20 seconds. What is it for baseball?


    I know in HS softball and Pony, on the second TO you have to yank 'em. Four is too many imo.

    2 in one inning in baseball requires that you pull him.
    I think 4 is ok for a game.

    Yeah, helmets are for wusses. We never wore them. :cool:

    It seems that the helmet rule is MLB's reaction to the death of the Rockies minor league coach who was killed when struck in the head.

    Yeah, that's what initiated it, but his was actually hit in the neck. Not sure a helmet covers that part. Was a truly freak accident where he was hit in just the right spot.
