Nope, but have always wanted too. I had discussed heading down in '05, but that didn't happen for obvious reasons.

:geaux: That litte ole gal named Katrina huh. Was up your way last year about this time. Went to Gatlinburg and met up with some friends of ours who live in Knoxville, former Navy bud and his wife, and had a great time. Will try to explore more of Knoxville next time since we stayed in Gatlinburg most of the time. Sure is pretty in the mountains and it was actually WINTER up there! I don't think we have that down here any more.:( :LSU231:

Gatlinburg is ok. You can only go there so many times before it gets old, I take the bypass around Gatlinburg now and head straight for the mountains. When you are heading to Knoxville don't plan a long trip, there isn't much to do.

:geaux: Yeah I wouldn't want to go there (Gatlinburg) every year or anything but it's nice and we enjoyed it. Going through Pigeon Forge was like being in Branson, Mo., same stuff in both places. Knoxville seems to be a fairly large place so I figured there would be quite a bit to do, along with being a big college town and all. :LSU231:

The only time I will ever stop anywhere in Pigeon Forge is if I need a airbrushed t-shirt or a drive-thru wedding. That place is an embarassment to the rest of the state.

They definitely have. I will learn to like this place even though all of the purple does look a little feminine.:D
