    There was a meningitis outbreak @ Lackland when I went thru basic in November 1966. I went thru basic & tech school at Amarillo & my first assignment was Lubbock. It was a relief to go to Nam to get the hell out of the Texas panhandle. I was at Bien Hoa from Aug 69 - Aug 70.

    Missed you in Nam left in 1968. Vietnam wasnt much different than S. Louisiana humid, rice fields, snakes and bugs and everyone had guns.
