Where was Downs before? I seem to remember he was in the 70s. He wasn't that far behind Davenport. Looks like Davenport got a bump too.
I was looking at it just the other day and for the life of me I can't remember. I remember seeing there was only 1 other DT between Davenport and Downs. So it's possible Davenport was in the 70s and Downs was in the 80s like you said. Look for similiar bumps from Scout and Rivals. Scout has him listed as a 3 star, sadly.
The Scout mods on the national board said they were very impressed with Downs last week and would be evaluated as a DT instead of OG and that Davenport is one of the top DT in the nation and most likely would stay a 5*.
If you played well in the UA Game ESPN gave you a bump. They also have like 2 scouts so I wouldnt be too worried with those guys. Though, Downs will get a bump from all three, like you said.
