they opened a fatburger down the street from me a while back. i know people who dont eat there because of the name. i love it.
Speaking of Fatburger, I don't understand why the greedy bastards there and especially at In and Out Burger have not put any (much less enough) franchises in Houston. Maddening.
Carl's Jr = hilarious. <anecdote> I ate at one in San Francisco about 14 years ago, and this was at the height of the "In Living Color" TV show's popularity. We waited so long at the drive-thru window everyone was doing Jamie Foxx's Wanda impersonations: 'Ah reh' tah go.... Ah reh' tah go now!" </anecdote>
We went there last night. I had the burger, which was overcooked. Girlfriend had the Brisket sandwich which was good. It's just about the same menu as Dreamland--BBQ and sandwiches/salads.
