Unless he wants to stay in south Louisiana.

If he were going to Tennessee, I imagine it would have happened already.

It certainly does appear he either will stay with the Saints or come over to LSU. I think it's 50/50 at this point.

He isnt there for the exact same reason Monte Kiffin isnt with his son right now but will be. They are both in-season and under contract. NFL contracts are a wee bit different then college contracts.

BTW...even if he wants to saty in south LA why would he give up the Saints gig for us? Makes no sense.

Monte has already said he is going to join his son, though. It isn't just a rumor.

same reason Saban, Butch Davis, Spurrier, Pete Carroll, etc. all came back to the college game.
The money ain't much different from top-line college jobs to NFL jobs.

He enjoys coaching kids and not adults I'd imagine. Doesn't he enjoy the recruiting game also?

Plus, there's a huge difference between coaching fired up, motivated, hungry college players and coaching wealthy, distracted, world-weary professionals.

If you've ever been around the two locker rooms or practice facilities much, you know what I'm talking about.

If you are a coach who likes make an impact on player's lives, you'll have more job satisfaction in college, I'm guessing.

I have no idea if O is contemplating this or not. But he appears to be more into emotion and motivation than personality and ego massage.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are some changes soon with the Saints coaching, a new DC at least who may have someone in mind for DL.

A defensive line coach in the NFL is going to make a minimum 25-30% more than a defensive line coach in college.

Sure he may like college better but if thats the case Tenn seems like the logical choice since he would have a path to d-coordinator right in front of him.

Its just my opinion but common sense tells me if he moves it will be to Tennessee.
