yea ford is the #5 player on scout and brockers is #17 so if he stays that high he will be a 5* later would be awesome and
orelus- looks good on film and very solid It doesn't hurt that he is 6-5 280+ nice pick up
Ford- all world RB Bleeds LSU HUGE pick up
Brockers- versatile guy can play TE,OL, DE or DT BIG talent awesome to get him from out of state and strengthen the Houston pipeline
Could not have asked for a much better start Great start for :miles: and staff

This is the recruiting year where the championship pays off, it's off to a great start and should get even better. Back to back to back 11 or more wins a season, a national championship and Miles to michigan rumors crushed add up to what should be a great year of recruiting.

    W A H O O O is right! Great news!

Naturally, I like the Ford commitment. Running backs bring a lot of excitement to a game, and he's a La. kid.

Maybe out Nat. Championship didn't help too much in the 08 class, but I think it has to give Miles more credibility than he's ever had. You don't have to guess what he's capable of, you KNOW what he's capable of, being the best!

Plus, after 3 years, he seems to run a sound, sane, team oriented program. There a lot to like about our situation, and Les is using that to his advantage.

I love it when a plan comes together!

Dandydon said in his report today that he expects Barbe HS CB Janzen Jackson to commit today, and that LSU will receive a couple other commits from highly ranked kids from TX today as well.

    WAHOOO is right!!!

Let's get a bunch of them committed early so Miles and Co can go hard after 3-4 big time recruits later on!

I think the 2007 NC will really help us in this recruiting class + Miles seems like a REALLY likable coach......

    Can you say excited?

I think we get Lanscomb and Janzen Jackson this weekend.

What a great way to start off the '09 class!

Well, got one of them. Sonny said that before Jr Day Lanscomb did not have a scholarship offer, but that may change. Apparently his grades aren't very good.
