Says he will make a decison no later than the end of August and it is down to LSU and UGA.

Still not sure if he has a commitable offer but I guess we are in the top 2 for a reason. I see him as a return man and added depth to the slot WR spot.

this is where it gets tough for LSU..will they holdout and wait for certain players or go on a first come first serve basis but I do understand the idea of a commitable and non-commitable offer but what happens if the guy we wait on choses someone else and the non-commitable offer recruit already commited elsewhere and that position was one of need. However after saying that I know some players are worth the wait or chance..me personally WR wise I'm holding out for Andre DeBose.

My gut feeling is Wooten is a take and now the pressure is on Debose to pick LSU before Wooten does.

    Any reason for this?

    Re: Rantavious Wooten

I think we will take 3 WRs and Debose appears to be far from a lock, so if Wooten wants to come on board, I think we will accept.

There's a good chance he selects Georgia, so probably not something we will have to deal with.

I also think he choses UGA, but if we made him a priority we could get him.

I don't see 3 WRs as a must, considering Benton will likely be a part of this class. I only see us taking 3 if the third is a can't turn down talent, and I don't view Wooten as one of those.

Agree cparso, Debose will be the 3rd WR if we take 3 of them IMO. If not we rely on Benton becoming eligible and take him, and he might be the best of the entire lot anyway.

    Re: Rantavious Wooten

Espn reported today that he will make a decision on August 29 and it is still between us and the dawgs. Maybe we will have a handle on whether we will get Debose by then. You have to wonder if LSU or GA told him that they would know whether they would take him by that date. Why give himself an arbitrary deadline like that? Apparently if we were taking him only if we didn't get Bell, he doesn't know it or he wouldn't be making this kind of announcement right after Bell gave us his verbal.

He was planning on making a decision soon even before the Bell commit. However, I do not see him getting a commitable offeer and will likely choose UGA if that is the case.

Wooten to announce in 2 weeks.

He will likely choose Georgia. Early PT is a factor and Richt is promising him that I am sure.

    On to Debose.
