Not saying it isn't true but Ive seen too many of those articles before where the source jumped the gun. Hope its accurate though :thumb:
With Clements commitment to LSU, not only did Miles get the two DEs he wanted, but he got two of the best in the nation. Way to go Les.
Not so fast my friend. USC has the #2 D in the country right now. We lose just 2 players from our D-line, Sed Ellis and Lawrence Jackson. Returning are Everson Griffen, DaJohn Harris, Fili Moala, Kyle Moore, Alex Parsons, Christian Tupou, Michael Reardon, Gerald Washington, Derek Simmons, Averell Spicer. Coming in are Armond Armstead and Wes Horton so far. Our LB'er unit loses just one player, Keith Rivers as does our secondary, Terrell Thomas. Perhaps next season will be the one where USC and LSU finally get the chance (yes, I know we've played 2x already) to meet on the field.
Are we still recruiting Glenn Harbin the DE that was former teammates with Slidell Corely and Phelon Jones.
I would say that talent wise your guys are probably as talented as ours, it's just that we have 2 more than the guys you named, and 1 more coming in next year. Our depth/experience is extremely good, and while I was exagerrating a bit by saying no one even comes close, I still firmly believe we have the advantage over USC at D-Line. But you guys definitely have the advantage at LB.. CB I don't know much about who all SC has? I'm sure probably at least three or four 5-star CB's just like every other position
