Having a problem taking your own advice? Bama has no guarantee, that's you argument. Georgia can win the SEC, that's mine. "Don't think it's a done deal" your words. I agree, for both teams, mine.
I partially agree but we're not in until we are officially in. As for a guaranteed win I'm sure Ohio state fans thought they had a guaranteed win over Florida back in 2006. We'll know coming soon whether or not chokelabama gets another shot.
Advice I give you doesn't apply to me. You think advice that shrinks give applies to them too? See, there's one little difference. I haven't gone into a game this year thinking we'd lose...been right so far.
Einstein? Is that you? 1. Alabama gets to scout LSU one extra week. 2. Alabama gets one extra week rest. 3. LSU risks injury in the extra game. 4. The lesser team gets the easier path to the championship. 5. LSU has played a much tougher schedule already than Alabama, beat them head to head, but risks not getting to the BCS game by having to play one extra game, while the losing team is already penciled in. 6. LSU has one less week to focus on Alabama. Sheesh.
Bama and Ok St are very close in the computer ratings. But Okie is getting screwed right now in the human polls. A big win over OU will likely put them ahead of Bama in the computer polls and result in a lot more points from the human polls. Bama fans are setting themselves up to be crushed if they think the NCG is a sure thing.
This. Clearly. But I can definitely see the "unfair" argument about them sitting it out while we play. However, I'm GLAD we're playing, and we get to see our dominant Tigers take it to another ranked opponent.
