Considering the SEC is widely considered to be the best conference in the country, any win in conference is a good win. If it's not a good win, than the SEC must not be as strong as we think it is.

I didn't say it was a bad win. I just see the logic behind pollsters being much more impressed with a team clicking on all cylinders and not needing a penalty to win the game against a 2-3 team at home (i realize that all of tenn's losses are to ranked opponents, but they still have 3 losses).

Regardless, I think that the next four games will say alot about our team. Starting with Fla, we will prove (hopefully) that we deserve to be ranked among the top 10 teams in the nation.

I think that we should be ranked up there because we are 5-0, but we are going to have to prove it by continuing to win.

I understand. I think this season it is clear that teams are different every week. Washington went to USC and beat them, while going to BYU and losing to them. Virginia Tech started off poorly, and have rebounded with dominating wins.

Even Mississippi won't be an automatic win. They will bring their A game just like every other SEC team will when they play @ Death Valley. It will be a hard fought game.

I wouldn't be too sure about losing to Florida. Bama held them to 6 points, no TDs, and i think our Def is every bit as much if not more than Bama's I think Lee can squeak out a TD or two, and a few field goals. Who knows, Jefferson may run the length as well with the new added incentive for him to perform.

I think this last game was a wake up call ... we need passing and Lee is it. Jefferson will be a good off balance series, because he runs, and can throw.

I see us taking FL 13-10.

Once again, that statement applies to every single ranked team.

Biggest surprise to me is that Ohio State got a vote for #1...I got no problem with them still being #2, but they are not playing all that well. Very blah - like they always are. Bama or Florida or Auburn or LSU or even Arky will crush them.

Too lazy to look it up - somebody look up and see who voted them #1.
