this is a great point. i loved the fact that nike (yes, nike) used the tiger eye in that gear instead of toonces. a move that should be lauded and copied by others. we should support this trend and make the :tigereye: our official logo. death to toonces!!!!!
Death to toonces but no to the black gear. LSU IS PURPLE and GOLD!!!! Purple and Gold,Purple and Gold,Purple and Gold....Dang,when will the marketers get it? I'm not buying ANYTHING that is not PURPLE AND GOLD! LSU! LSU! LSU! :tigereye: :tigereye: :tigereye: :crystal: :crystal: :tigerhead :tigerhead
Looks like "Mad Max" ....er..."Mad Miles".... Or Batman... I don't like the leather-biker-look. I mean, if it were given to me, I would wear it proudly, but I wouldn't spend my own money on it.
If you put it close enough to that crystal trophy, IT LOOKS PRETTY DAMN GOOD!!! :geaux: :crystal:
I think we oughta dress head to toe in black, just for the UGA game next year! Just to screw with their heads!:thumb:
If I'm not mistaken the black jacket that CLM is wearing was given to him by the BCS Championship game. It says 2007 National Champions on the back. I don't recall seeing him wear it anytime before the game.
Which probably means this is a one time deal and, like the Tulane game, is meant solely to make a dime and move on. That'd be good with me. More I look at it, more I no likey.
Correct. Urban Meyer wore one very similar last year when he was on the podium in AZ. Nike is trying to make it a trend. Not sure they ever actually sold it though--one of our Gator friends would have to tell us. The black warmups were from the BCSNCG gift pack each player and coach recieved. I like purple better--the black looks sharp enough but it's not LSU. GEAUX TIGERS
The men's basketball team wore them up to Memphis yesterday. I thought they were Grambling until they got closer and I recognized Anthony Randolph.
