    Looks like this Hankton guy must have been offered something more to stay at Gawga, should have made an announcement to come to LSU by now. Had Gawga lost may have happened. Sure CBK will find a great replacement

    Don't think he would accept a job here as WR coach only, would be great to have him though.

    Also, I seem to recall that recruiting wasn't his thing. Looks like CBK puts a premium on that for all positions he fills.

    After 2019, I don't know that he'd have to personally recruit that much. His name on the program alone would be a huge selling point.

    This is not necessarily a dead deal just because the announcement wasn't immediately after the title game. It took about a week for Jamar Cain to become official.

    Hopefully it is just contract details being hammered out.

    Hope you are right. I think he would be a good hire for recruiting first plus he was the WR coach for a NC team.

    Cortez Hankton officially our WR coach. Staff is complete and loaded with Louisiana born coaches who will keep most of our in state athletes in state. I am liking what CBK has done so far.

    Well you called it on Cortez a while back. I agree that when I look at the staff as a whole that CBK assembled the better I like them. First test will be how they finish out the recruiting season.
