i am not sure i understand the point. i am saying we should cut social services so that people do not take advantage of them, immigrants or not. and again, it hasnt been shown to me that immigrants are anything other than an economic force for good, providing the labor force we desperately need.
Your main problem is that you refuse to acknowlege the distinction between legal American citizens and illegal interlopers.

Yes...and even knew someone who participated. That was an era prior to political correctness. It wouldn't happen today even if 90+% of Americans wanted it. It only takes one person to cry racism and everything comes to a halt. We don't need "sweeps" to end the problem. Simply cutting off the incentives to come and/or remain will mitigate the problem.
