I know I exaggerated a little here but when Carter was president
I knew some of what was going on but I didn't understand politics.
Maybe its partly because you have more faith than I do according to your comments here.

Part of my problem is that I have little faith that the Republicans will repeal Pelosi Care even if the American people want it to happen.
IMHO the Republicans have very little guts, also no entitlement program has ever been rolled or scaled back that I can find.
IMHO the whole reason the Dems went against the will of the people is that they know it might cost them in the short term.
But they figure that sooner or later they will be back in power, more bolder than ever just like now, they are not trying to hide what they are doing.
Lets look for 1 minute at the way Dems and Republicans play the game.
The Dems filibuster and do all sorts of things and yet the Republicans play nice, they don't play by the same rules.
It is there fault but everything seems so slanted to the left!

I have very little faith in politics anymore.
I believe without political reform, then government reform we are headed right off a cliff for various reasons.
I would be happy with a three party system but I don't think it is possible.
I am willing to give up some ground for compromise especially if it keeps far left people like Obama out of the White House.
Both parties will see that never happens and I'm afraid that is the same result with the borders.

everything seems slanted to the left because the american voters elected a dem potus, dem majority in the house and dem majority in the senate. you just wait til clarence thomas has a heart attack while obama is still in office.

 

I am not talking this year with a radical left administration in place.
Even independents are leaving and filibustering these socialists.

Yes to you because you don't recognize that conservative has been squeezed out of various places like school systems and certain colleges.
I have heard from students who remain silent in their beliefs because of the hostile environment in the some classrooms because the left doesn't believe in tolerance unless you are leftist.

I didn't think that one could you your name and class in the same sentence and now I know I am right and that is too bad!

I disagree with your statement, it would be far worse for the country, Constitution and the Declaration of Independence not just conservatives.
For instance the gun bans wouldn't have been shot down.
You might as well dissolve the Constitution along with the Declaration of Independence.

Again, Democrats, particularly Liberals are infringing on citizens rights such as the 2nd Amendment.
Then you have the Obama Administration falsifying information for an oil moratorium.
In both cases the Liberals are ignoring the court rulings so they must only abide by court ruling when in their favor.

 

When I said what I did I was referring about filibustering Supreme Court nominees.
Republicans don't do it and Democrats do.
The standard should be the same for this as well as the news debacle, spectacle that this has turned out to be.
Some for all hearings, everyone knows its just a circus anymore.

 

just when you think there is good news and the govt maybe (just maybe) taking a step towards getting something right, it is followed with something that tells you it is same old shyt.

former administrations have pandered to the business that hire by looking the other way. this administration is pandering to the hispanic vote by keeping every illegal in the country, even when found.

all this means is the illegals will move to another job somewhere else. why bother? it goes back to tackling both sides of the issue. no administration seems to be willing to do that.
