more so than information on auntie, it references a study on what the cost of illegals is. supa contends they add to the economy. anyone have link to a study or anything that references a study to show they add?

i would like to see numbers and a study instead of opinion.

 

this. i hope that both parties face a backlash against members that are ignoring this issue. and it is also another reason why i am not opposed to showing proof of citizenship to register to vote, and then voter registration to vote.

 

but lets face it red, everyone involved can say politics wasnt involved in the decision, but it had to have, even if she would have been allowed to stay without it being it the back of everyone's mind who she was.

the part that is important tho is that she so easily stayed, and stayed in public housing while illegal.

I hope so, but I doubt it. When the media starts up with the "Special Interests" stories people tend to change their minds. There is nothing more powerful than an image of little Lupe and her 9 kids being deported after 15 years in the country. I see all the time here in Houston

 

Bush ain't President anymore. Not a defense to Obama's ignoring the problem and twising it into a race issue.

 

I'm not here to defend Bush, Clinton, Reagan, etc. I've stated before that neither party's leadership is interested in enforcing the laws. They simply want them regulated which will still allow a steady stream of illegal aliens to get in.

Even so, I'm not sure where you're going with the Bush comment. The Border Patrol experienced their largest growth ever during his administration. More infrastructure (roads, fences, etc.) were also built during his tenure. Technology was also funded during his term.

What did he do to make it worse?

It doesnt really help I have a TWIC it is suppose to be a federal ID. I came back from a cruise and the costoms agent said i need your drivers (Now my Drivers Lic is a state ID and this "Federal employee" almost didnt take my TWIC and wanted my state of Louisiana ID instead. hell some do seem to really understand whats going on any way.
