Yes, I definitely wanted hipboots when I looked at that big ditch. There was a lone railroad tie in the middle of the ditch, but I could just picture the beer drinking dudes laughing at me when I feel off of that. They yelled at me that there was a "dry spot" about 10 yards on the other side of a light pole. So, I risked it and made it across.
Maybe the athletic department can request that Facility Services come up with a solution to that. Should be done in 2018.
I parked in the lot across from the old Box and was walking down the sidewalk along Nicholson. I saw those parking along Nicholson and Burbank trying to figure out how to get over that ditch. I saw the guy trying to place that railroad tie to cross the ditch. It was a mess.
when exactly did you see those guys trying to place a tie?? Haha, because a couple weeks ago, it could have been me and my room mate you saw. It ALMOST went perfect. Except when the tie was standing straight up, about to fall across the water, it took an unexpected turn 90 degrees to the left, and landed flat side in the water. I almost pissed on myself when my room mate realized he was soaked, and covered in green sea weed looking scum.:rofl:
All those people trying to cross Nicholson after the game is an accident waiting to happen. Especially after night games. Everyone is crossing at different points with no cross walks or anything. The two lane road by the new box needs to be widen as well.
They could cut me a break when i try to sit in the all but empty purple seats....after the 5th inning...when only 4000 people show up....for a midweek game.
