    Personally I would prefer Bertman Field. I don't think Alex Box was associated with LSU baseball, but admittedly I am not sure.

    Skip already has a street named after him! 150 years and William Tecumseh Sherman, our first president, still doesn't have a street, a hall, or anything on campus named after him.

    Alex Box stadium is not going to be renamed. Period.

    But he does have a line of medium quality small engines named after him!! Oh wait, there is an indian head on those.:thumb:

    I like this idea, but I would tend to think that the purest will stick with Alex Box. Tradition is one of the things we can still say we have to build upon. As I am sure, lets say, Coach Les Miles wins 6-7 National Championships, would anyone allow Tiger Stadium to be renamed Les Miles Stadium, I think not. Why, well in my opinion it would be because of the tradition of Tiger Stadium. Yes, the wrong nick name has stuck in "Death Valley", but it is still Tiger Stadium.
