Also compare it to the hype of Cody's entire year in 2009.

28 Total (Bama player Bio says 20)
    12 solo
    16 assisted
    6 tackles for loss
    0 sacks

Nevis has an INT and it is only half the year compared to a full year. Big difference already.

Cody is a 3-4 NT though, hard to compare him statistically. His job is measured in the amount of blockers required to keep his fat arse where it is.

Nevis is a 1-gap disrupter, ala Suh, Dorsey, Sapp, etc. As overrated as Fatboy Cody was, it's not fair to bring up his stats in comparison to these types of players, since he was never really expected to produce sacks or TFL to begin with. His job was to free up the guys behind him.

That is understood obviously. I am not always fair when it comes to Cody and neither are his man boobs.

Plus he only played like 30% of the snaps. I wonder how they fit that cream filling into an IV.

Anyway, BHelm, some are saying that Freak is the most talented DT prospect this state has seen in ages, any validity to that?

He is that and could be playing right away for LSU next season. He has speed and very nice technique to shed blockers to go along with the power to bullrush if needed. Currently sitting at 296lbs and that is scary with his athleticism. This guy is a decent basketball player as well.

He is going to enroll early and get his shot to compete early in the rotation.

I read somewhere that he has an amazing swim move. That's some high praise, especially since Nevis, Dorsey, Lavalais, Kyle Williams, Claude Wroten, Booger, were all from Louisiana.
