I think some of the calls on the fence I may look at different if he were at LSU. But I bet Miles wouldn't stand for that garbage. The object is to go out and compete at the highest level, not to try and injure your opponent. I know you know that, i'm just saying. The only player we have had that I can remember that was even remotely in the same ball park as Fairley was LaRon. And I remember Tiger fans being really pissed at him every time he hit a player out of bounds. But even he never did what Fairley has done.
Which is why I say Fairley isn't all at fault here, this is mostly a coaching and rule issue. If the rules were more clearly defined and enforced by the refs, especially for the QB hits, then I think you would see him doing this less. But that is just speculation on my part, he could be a through and through thug. In the NFL the guy would have lost a great chunk of change by now, and could be facing some serious suspension time.
Fairley's getting royal protection from the refs...Last year it was undefeated Alabama and Florida...This year, it's undefeated Auburn and Fairley. He tries to injure quarterbacks and the refs just let him. He'll probably get injured himself before the NFL draft.
I think they just held him out at the end because they didn't want him to get in a fight (Georgia was pissed) and miss the first half of the Bama game.
How do you think dicky Nicky handles the fairley situation ? Does he just play Alabama football or does he go after fairley. If fairley tries his shiz again does saban take the high road or does saban go after him and tries to put him out?
I think Saban is a scumbag, but I don't think he would send his players after someone. sweep the leg Fluker, sweep the leg.
