So, in overtime, if there's a turnover...go over and take the opposing player's head off using his facemask...uh, but don't sling the ball in frustration. Did anyone else think this made sense? BTW, if this has been discussed...Sorry, been away and could not find it addressed in the forum.
How about no OT at all, and let's go back to the good 'ol days when we had ties. Then we'd be 10-0-2! :geauxtige
I think "when" the foul occured determined that, not "what" the foul was. Either way, I think it's pretty dumb that the faskmask wasn't marked off.
Thanks for the serious answer. Based on what I saw, the fact that no penalty occurred seems dangerous.
Its the difference between a foul during the play and a dead ball fall after the overtime period has ended... its a bad rule and needs to be fixed...
I suggest we start somewhere beyond the 25 yard line because the LSU defense has trouble stopping opponents from scoring from that distance.
Personal fouls do carry over to the next possesion. That is why TN started on the 40 yard line in their game with KY.
How about lets just fix the red zone and defensive problems, that way the game just might not make it to overtime?
