id probably keep the 3 backs. i think parker will be worth more than any 2nd rd wr and being its a keeper you can trade for a 1st rounder if needed. but with injuries and byes 3 quality backs are a must and touch the ball much more. wr's are a dime a dozen and much harder to predict anyhow. id keep fast willie as well.
Especially after they realize that Roethlisberger isn't very good, and need 150 yards/game out of Willie. A second round pick for him seems high though. BUT, feel free to ignore NLMD, given NLMD's FFL retirement before the '06 season.
tirk's advice is sound running back is where the money is keep 3, addai at 6 or henry at 13 is a coin flip....either one would be worth a higher pick than their respective spots you got them in last year
Yeah, I think that the best decision is keeping Addai, Parker, and SJ. Some publications have Addai as their 3-7 pick, and Parker as 9-12. A first or second round pick isn't going to mean much, since probably 80% of the people who would go in those rounds will be keepers for the other teams anyway. With a stable of three first-round quality backs, I can trade for whoever I want once the draft is complete. I will also start truly drafting at round three, pick #5, where I should have a good selection of WR's to choose from. Any one of those back should allow me to trade for an elite player at any position. I've seen the keeper list for the other teams, and some of those teams will be hurting badly for a good RB.
throw the publication that has Addai at 3 in the trash. Their editor was probably drunk when he wrote that.
If my aunt had a dong, she'd be my uncle. And while I think you could be generally right, there are also a ton of red flags that go against Roethley in whether I typically like a guy: he's a medium school guy (I much prefer big school players or non-D-I), he comes across like a bit of a dolt (I prefer either intelligent or thuggish), he gets way too much credit for winning the Super Bowl, and not enough for not losing it (and the rest of the games that year) on a highly overrated Steelers team. Essentially, if he was black, he'd be Leftwich without the heart.
