insert anyone from the thread that is running about who would take the uf job. I think we are as desirable if not more so than uf. Louisiana is loaded w/ talent and we dont really have to battle any other schools for our pick of the litter.
That's the point though. We are talking about job openings at Miami, and Florida, If Stoops takes the Florida job, Oklahoma would be open. Landing the right coach isn't as easy as you all are making it out to be.
I dont know I think there are several good coaches waiting to be picked up out there. Personally my short list would be (in no particular order): gary patterson bo pelini mike leach will muschamp
This shouldve sounded fishy from the beginning. Why the he!! would Nebraska GIVE permission to Miami to speak with BP?!?!
That's actually a pretty customary protocol and schools usually do give permission with no argument. You want a coach who's heart is in it. If he wants to leave for greener pastures, so be it. Don't hold him back. If he listens, and stays put, you've got yourself a guy who's heart is with the institution.
seriously? Mike Leach? That guy is poison. Plus he would not cut it in the SEC. The dude is a whining putz.
i was on the patterson train before i heard he was trying to force a kid with a concussion to play and told the team doctor to basically shove it. bo pelini, i'm afraid if things didn't go his way, he would cut off all of our players heads and feed them to his brother. mike leach, i wouldn't want him to coach my kid's team. and muschamp hasn't proven anything, and didn't impress too much at Texas, unless he is just selling Mack down the river so he can snag his HC job.
Last I checked we didn't have any spoiled ESPN kids on our team. I think he would be great at LSU especially w/ our tools As far as my picks I stick w/ them I think they would all be good choices.
