Can't you see that he is saying that Harris still needs to improve? And that improvement is what will get him into the game? How can he be more clear without dissing Harris? Spring will see Harris take the job if he has the stuff.

you can read stock quotes into Les' verbiage and have it make sense if you wish. either way, he has a history of flat out lying and has done so many times this year. take nothing he says for anything more than garbled fodder. much less truth.

,After the J. Lee debacle I have trouble trusting Miles with QB's. I don't get paid the millions these guys do or have the expertise they do, but what harm does it do to play the kid and let him learn? We didn't accomplish squat this year anyway and now we may be rebuilding at QB next year too. Jennings did not improve that much, and Harris did not gain any game experience. We have to get over this hump or we will stay at this level (or worse) forever. I really like Miles as our coach, but I see other coaches doing so much more with our offensive talent than what we are getting.

I just want for us to be no questions asked, undefeated champions one time and I thought '11 was the year. Instead we got ass raped on national TV because of some personnel issues we may never know about. I know Miles does not owe us any explanation for what he does, but it is sure frustrating to see the same thing happening all over again.

I mean could you imagine what Gus, Petrino, Leach, Spurrier or even Cam could do with our young qb's with carte blanche of the playbook. I think of the Tebow commercial where he tells the dude that it is a" myth that you can't have an effective run game with a spread offense." He says it puts your best players in space and allows them to do what they do best. We have speed and talent and all we do is try to bull people over.....I just don't get it!

It's a pretty good bet that Harris isn't ready, as most freshmen aren't. I think Jennings will end up performing better than Jefferson, he's just a SO with very little experience before this year.

I just don't get why they don't split time. I'm pretty sure it's the player's confidence Les is worried about, and Les' confidence that Jennings will manage the game better. If this is the case, I kinda disagree, but like the pumpers are wont to say, it's his call.

People say Les should do Cam like he does with Chief, let him run that side of the ball. If Chief runs the D, we should ask him why he started JD over Beck?

They need to incorporate some sort of spread option attack that limits opposing teams opportunity to score. They were once a team that could perfect the option attack but have tried to incorporate a pro style offense without the personel needed to run it. They simply aren't as physical as they once were.

I'm a little lost on your thought process here.

How is incorporating a spread option attack going to limit opposing teams opportunity to score?
