I'm pretty sure that's not a rule. And I'm guessing TCU because they are the next highest ranked team. I say if Texas loses, give an undefeated mid-major team a chance at the title. And with OU in 2003, they were #1 and no other team was close before they lost. That scenario def does not play out this year. Too many teams at the top that are worthy.
The top two in the final BCS poll play for the :crystal: No stipulation that you have to win your conference title.
It wasn't changed, but the polls are now 2/3rds of the equation, so in effect, a team that doesn't win it's conference won't play in the game. Look at 2007 when LSU had to jump all the way to #2 in the polls to get into the national championship game because the teams ahead of them didn't win their conference.
1 minute from BCS chaos. Win or lose I cant say enough about Pelini's defense. If only Nebraska had an offensive mastermind like Crowton.
Gee, what great clock management by McCoy and Brown, with a timeout left and nearly ending the game without even trying a field goal. I wonder how soon this will be dismissed, because McCoy and Brown are neither idiots nor lucky - they are just good dude!
