Ok, i was thinking and i thought this would be cool, i am going to take 10 games from this week, and ask a series of trivia questions based on those 10 games. The winner gets bragging rights. I would say don't cheat, but you are going to anyway. 1. USL vs. LSU - LSU has scored an obscene amount of points over 80 3 times on ULL, give me the years and the scores. 2. Temple vs. Penn St. - Temple has won 3 times in this series, what year did Temple first beat Penn St. and what was the score. 3. USC vs. Washington - 2 Pac-10 teams have beaten USC more than Washington has. Whos are the teams, and how many wins does Washington have all time vs. USC. 4. UNT vs. Alabama - i mentioned this in another thread so this one will be easy. Coach Todd Dodge of UNT coached Greg Mcelroy in high school. Who did Mcelroy replace as quarterback his senior year of high school, and who repleaced Mcelroy, when he left for Alabama. 5. Texas Tech vs. Texas - Tech will be going for their 2nd win in a row, when was the last time Tech won 2 games in a row vs. the Longhorns. 6. Florida St. vs. BYU - These 2 teams have met twice before, both resulting in an FSU win. They first hooked up in what year, and who were the starting quarterbacks for both teams? 7. Georgia vs. Arkansas - When was the last time a punt was returned for a touchdown on the Bulldogs, who was it, what year, and how many yards was it returned for? 8. Nebraska vs. Virginia Tech - these 2 teams hooked up in 1996 in the Orange Bowl, resulting in a Nebraska thumping of VA Tech 41-21. On the Nebraska coaching staff that year, 4 of the coaches are now head coaches at other universities. Name the 4 coaches and the universities they are currently coaching. and since the much anticipated UF vs. Tenn game is this weekend i will give 2 questions regarding this series. 9. these 2 teams actually met up in a bowl game, what was the bowl, the year and final score? 10. The last time Tenn. beat UF was in 2004, this was the infamous head slap game, Tennessee could have tied the game with an extra point before the altercation, but it was missed. The kicker redeemed himself kicking a field goal for the win after the altercation which killed UF. Who was the kicker, and who were the 2 players involved in the altercation? take a try, and i will pm you the answers so you can post your results.
