    Yes, if I remember right LSU self-reported and proposed sanctions. Hicks never saw the field and McCarthy was promptly canned. Unless some bombshell develops the NCAA will likely accept the self-imposed penalties.

    It is the NCAA, however, so who knows.

    This is just clearing things up, LSU self reported, reduced #'s, and a few other things, along with letting both the recruit and coach go. LSU did their own wrist slapping, NCAA will let us know if its enough. Or hit us a little harder. Knowing Emeritt, he is doing his best to clean up these things. He is a more than fair and honest guy.

    That's nothing.

    They basically just allowed us to discipline ourselves.

    Yeah, all I'm seeing from the NCAA's end is one more year of official visit restrictions.
