http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=4055102 The NCAA's merging of the Reggie Bush and O.J. Mayo probes could point at the dreaded "lack of institutional control" finding, writes Ted Miller.
Exactly what I was thinking. EDIT: Maybe I should read all the posts before posting. Oh well at least we all agree.
The NCAA is too busy updating their recruiting rulebooks to actually enforce major portions of their rules. With any luck, they can spot another kid that took the wrong class in 9th grade and keep him from playing. Bravo, you hypocritical [mad lib with the most vile pejorative you can conjure]
Ahh but you fail to mention the most glaring hypocrisy of all. Had this been done at Kansas, West Virginia, Free Shoes University, or even LSU there would be swift vengance. The head hunters at the NCAA would be out for blood. IMO the only reason there is so much dragging of the feet is because it is at "that school".
Not Kansas...remember Lester Earl and his 0.0 average he took to Kansas. Kansas basketball + Roy Williams = cheating bastards With the NCAA being based in Indy, you can also forget any sanctions against Notre Dame or Indiana.
