So, there will be a rematch. First of all, I must admit these two teams are the best in this year's college football on paper. However, I can't help but notice how RIDICULOUSLY this system has played itself out. Basically by a remath you are telling me this: LSU and Alabama will play each other twice this season, and it doesn't matter who wins the first battle. Only the winner of the second battle matters and will be handed with a NC trophy. Wait...What the heck?? You are telling me if Bama wins the rematch and they are the NC while LSU gets nothing for beating them for the first time?? So let's do the math, the formula for Bama to get a NC is to have a 1-1 record against LSU, yet for LSU to get a NC they have to own a 2-0 record against BAMA?? Even an elementary student would have figured out something is wrong with this formula but the entire NCAA system is satisfied with this sh#t?! I am not saying LSU WILL lose the rematch, but just in case that happened, only a third-match between these two can fairly determine who is the best. Bama fans can say whatever they want to argue for their position, but they can't tell me I am wrong about this.
Bama won't win the rematch and Saban will head for another program. On the bright side, Bama will lose to LSU 4 times within 24 months. What could be sweeter.
The irony of it all is that under the BCS, EVERY game is supposed to be important. They took the most important game of the regular season and rendered it unimportant. Can't disagree with it overall, though. Two best teams duking it out, and if LSU wins, it will undoubtedly be the best season of a CFB team ever.
That would be great. Another slight on this team that will be mad and ready to make them eat their words. :crystal: :crystal: :crystal::geaux:
When we were playing them for the first time, all I heard from ESPN was this is actually the "playoff game" people have wanted. Please tell me that you have ever seen a team getting its second chance after losing a playoff game or series. The only thing we've got from the first win was just a chance to play the SECCG. All due respect to the importance of SECCG, but I think at least the first win against Bama would have mattered more than just a SECCG ticket.
