Yikes, this kid is more trouble than he is worth. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...4938/report-ncaa-investigating-johnny-manziel
TA&M better prepare to start the season without this nut case. No telling how long it will take the school or the NCAA to do a "thorough" investigation. The Aggies would be crazy to play him one down this season if this is lingering. I don't think this kid knows how bad he is blowing it right now. He is not a prototypical size NFL QB and certainly not the leader NFL organizations require at the QB position. His immaturity may cost him any chance at a shot in the NFL. Personally I think the kid is a dumbass.
@tigerace may be right. The one thing that would make me wonder is the NFL is full of overblown egos and someone somewhere will convince themselves that they can fix this kid.
Alternatively, someone may simply decide that passing a fake ID and selling autographs really isn't worth banning a talented kid from the NFL.
How do you get "banned from the NFL" from violation of NCAA rules??? And passing a fake ID was the only crime Ryan Perilloux committed at LSU, but Manziel commited several more crimes than that. And that won't keep him out of the NFL either. see Michael Vick
You might be right there, Smiley. But we all thought the same about Cam Newton. Personally, I want to see him play, so we can all watch him fall flat on his face. He'll be like Rocky Balboa in the first act of Rocky III, when he had lost the... Well...no...he never had the EYE OF THE TIGER.
